Premium Tempo 12 Seater Hire in Kochi: The ₹400 Question, and a Free Upgrade
₹3,400 against ₹3,000 for the Executive 12. But the Premium 10 costs the same as the Premium 12 — so one of those two is strictly the better buy.

Here is the single most useful fact about our premium range, and it is visible only if you read the rate card closely.
The Premium Tempo 10 and the Premium Tempo 12 both cost ₹3,400 a day.
Same rate. Two more seats in the 12. Which means the Premium 10 is never the right choice at that price — if you are paying ₹3,400 anyway, take the 12, whether or not you have twelve people.
I mention it because people book the 10 thinking they are saving something. They are not. There is no saving; there is only a smaller vehicle at the same money.
The ₹400 question
Now the other comparison, which is the real decision.
Executive Tempo 12 — ₹3,000 a day. Premium Tempo 12 — ₹3,400 a day.
Same twelve seats. ₹400 a day difference across a better interior.
Over a three-day Munnar trip that is ₹1,200. Over five days to Kanyakumari, ₹2,000.
So: is a better interior worth ₹400 a day? It depends entirely on how much time your group spends in the vehicle.
Three-day hill trip with adults — you are in the van six to eight hours across the trip. ₹1,200 for a noticeably better cabin is a reasonable buy.
An airport transfer — forty-five minutes. The premium is invisible. Take the Executive.
A family with young children — the interior will be tested. Take the Executive.
Twelve seats, honestly used
The 12 seater is the most-booked size in our fleet, so it is worth saying what twelve actually means.
Twelve passengers with light luggage — fine for a day trip or an overnight.
Twelve with full holiday luggage — the last row starts taking bags, and you are really carrying ten people and two suitcases’ worth of space. For four and five-day trips with twelve and heavy bags, move to the 17 seater.
Ten or eleven people — this is the ideal load. Everyone has a seat, the luggage has room, and nobody is negotiating over who sits in the back.
At ₹250 a seat per day before allowance, the Executive 12 is mid-pack on value: more per seat than the 17 and the 26, less than the smaller vehicles. It is not the cheapest way to move twelve, but it is often the right one.
What the interior step actually changes
“Better interior” is an easy phrase to write and a hard one to picture, so here is what it means in practice on a long day.
More comfortable seating, with more support over a four-hour drive — this is the difference you feel on day two of a hill trip, and it is the main reason groups pay.
A better-finished cabin, which mostly matters for how the vehicle comes across — to guests, to clients, or to relatives you are hosting.
And better general condition, which is the unglamorous half: fewer rattles, cleaner fittings, a cabin that has been kept rather than run.
What it does not change is the space. Seats on a Premium 12 are not further apart than on an Executive 12, because both sit in the same shell. If your group’s complaint is legroom, premium is not the fix — a bigger vehicle is.
Executive or Premium: a quick decision
Ask two questions.
How many hours will your group spend in the vehicle? Under two hours, take the Executive. Over four, consider the Premium seriously.
Who is travelling? If they are people you are hosting or impressing, the Premium earns its rate. If it is your own friends or family on a budget, they will not notice and the Executive is the honest recommendation.

Common questions
- What does a Premium 12 seater tempo traveller cost in Kochi?
- ₹3,400 per day with 100 km included per day. A 1 night / 2 day package is ₹6,800, extra km is ₹24, and driver allowance is ₹700 per day extra.
- Is the Premium 12 worth ₹400 a day over the Executive 12?
- If adults are spending long hours in the vehicle, yes. If it is a short transfer or the passengers are children, take the Executive 12 and keep the ₹400.
- Is the Premium 10 or Premium 12 better value?
- The Premium 12. Both cost ₹3,400 a day, but the 12 has two more seats for the same money — so the 10 is strictly the weaker buy.
- Do Premium vehicles have more legroom than Executive?
- Not more than the size allows. Premium is an interior and finish upgrade; the space is set by the vehicle size. If you need room rather than comfort, buy a larger Executive.
