The Premium Urbania 10 — the flagship of the fleet.

This is the top of our fleet. ₹6,500 a day for ten seats — ₹650 a seat, by a wide margin the most expensive way we move people.

There is no value argument for it. If you are reading this looking for the economical choice, stop: the Executive Tempo 12 at ₹3,000 moves more people for less than half. The reason to book this vehicle is not arithmetic.

So what is it for?

What it is

The Premium Urbania 10 is the highest-specification vehicle we run. It builds on the Urbania platform — the walk-in headroom and higher roof — with a further step up in interior, seating and finish above the standard Urbania 10.

Same ten seats. Same footprint. ₹1,000 a day more than the standard Urbania 10, and ₹3,500 a day more than the Premium Tempo 12.

What that buys is the cabin. And on the right trip, the cabin is the entire point.

The three cases where it is right

One — hosting people who matter. Clients, senior guests, visiting family you want to look after properly. If the vehicle is part of how the day comes across, this is the one that does the job, and no cheaper vehicle does it the same way.

Two — a long journey where the cabin is the experience. A five-day Kanyakumari or Rameswaram run, where your group will spend fifteen hours inside the vehicle. At that point, ₹650 a seat per day is a considered purchase, not an indulgence.

Three — a small group with specific needs. Three or four passengers with mobility requirements, or a group that has flown in for something and wants the day to be effortless.

The cases where it is not

Ordinary group travel. Ten people going to Munnar for a weekend do not need ₹650 a seat. They need a vehicle that gets them there comfortably, and a Premium Tempo 12 at ₹3,400 or an Executive 17 at ₹3,300 does exactly that.

Short transfers. An airport run in the flagship is money that buys nothing but the thirty minutes.

Anyone counting cost per head. At ₹650 a seat, plus ₹1,000 a day driver allowance, the per-person number is the highest we offer. Book it knowing that.

What you are not buying

It is worth being precise about what the flagship does not include, because the rate invites assumptions.

It does not come with unlimited kilometres. The allowance is the same 100 km per day as every other vehicle, billed from the garage and back.

It does not come with a lower extra-km rate — it is the highest in the fleet at ₹32/km.

It does not seat more than ten, and it does not drive any faster up a ghat than a Tempo does. On the Munnar road it takes the same hairpins at the same pace.

And it does not include the driver allowance, which is ₹1,000 a day for the Urbania class.

What it includes is the best cabin we run. That is the entire proposition, and on the right trip it is enough. On the wrong one it is an expensive way to move ten people who would have been just as happy in a Premium Tempo 12 that costs half as much.

If that reads as a lot of caveats for a flagship, it is meant to. You are paying for one thing here, and it should be the one thing you actually want.

What it costs

  • 1 Night / 2 Days — ₹13,000, 200 km included
  • 2 Nights / 3 Days — ₹19,500, 300 km included

100 km included per day, billed from the garage and back. Extra km is ₹32 — the highest extra-km rate in the fleet. Driver allowance is ₹1,000 per day. Tolls and parking inside Kerala are free.

For comparison on a three-day trip: the Premium Urbania 10 is ₹19,500 in rate plus ₹3,000 allowance, against the Premium Tempo 12 at ₹10,200 plus ₹2,100. Both are premium options; the difference is what tier of premium you want.
